AJ Troup
AJ Troup is a Minneapolis, Minnesota native and Los Angeles–based actor. His most recent credits include NBC’s Found starring Shanola Hampton, TriStar’s One of Them Days alongside Keke Palmer and SZA, the Disney+ limited series Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Hulu’s Pam & Tommy. Upcoming projects include the 2026 comedy She Keeps Me Young, featuring an all-star cast with Kate Berlant, John Early, and Patti Harrison, as well as the drama Loveset’s Manoeuvre starring Marin Hinkle.
AJ has also appeared in national commercial campaigns for McDonald’s, RumChata, Domino’s, and more. A graduate of Michigan State University, he was a member of the football team that won a Rose Bowl, Cotton Bowl, and two Big Ten Championships. He majored in Advertising and minored in Theatre, bringing the same discipline and teamwork he developed on the field into his work on set.
